  2. This website is owned and operated by Alufusion (Pty) Ltd trading as Bargains (“Bargains”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
  3. These terms and conditions stipulate the use of the website, sales transactions and communications involved.
  4. These terms and conditions are binding on any person who uses this website (“you”, “your”, or “user”).
  5. By using this website you agree that you agree to the terms and conditions stipulated below.
  6. The website provides an online shopping experience where users are able to purchase goods displayed on the website.

2.     Use of Site

  1. By using this site, you agree that we do not owe you any responsibilities. You agree to respect our website and any intellectual property associated with it.
  2. By browsing this site you agree that you do not have any rights to any of our services or products yet.

4.     Return Policy

  1. New Items.
    1. New items may be returned within 7 days. New items will only be exchanged/refunded if in an unused condition in the original packaging.
    2. Custom orders initiated specifically for the customer may be returned within 7 days. Custom orders will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. If there are any errors from Bargain’s side, we will rectify the fault.
  2. Scratch and dent / Refurbished / Unboxed / Clearance items (in-store purchases).
    1. Scratch and dent / refurbished / unboxed / clearance items may be returned within 7 days.
    2. 5% cancellation fee will be deducted for refunds.
  3. Products damaged on delivery:
    1. Should a new product delivered to you be found to be damaged or missing pieces/accessories, kindly notify us within 24 hours from date of delivery.
    2. After the item has been inspected and your return is validated, we will replace the item at our cost subject to availability of the same item.
    3. If such replacement is not possible we will refund you the purchase price of the item.
    4. Scratch & dent/damaged packaging items sold as such will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
  4. Delivery costs will not be refunded. Collection fees will be credited against the refund.
  5. Refunds will be effective after the item has been received and inspected. Refunds are made by EFT within 2 working days – no cash refunds.

5.     Warranty Policy

  1. Warranty Period
    1. New Items – Manufacturer’s Warranty
    2. Damaged Packaging Appliances – Manufacturer’s Warranty
    3. Scratch and dent appliances – 1 year.
    4. Refurbished appliances – 1 year.
    5. Trade-in appliances – 6 months.
    6. Unboxed clearance appliances – 6 months.
  2. Warranty for Scratch & Dent / Refurbished / Trade-in / Unboxed items (in-store purchases):
    1. Bargains warrants to the original purchaser that for the period specified under heading 5.1 from date of purchase the appliance is free from operational defect under normal domestic use, both in workmanship and material, subject to the following:
    2. Repair or replacement of any part of the appliance, found to be defective by Bargains will be at the election of Bargains. The cost of such service shall be borne by Bargains subject to heading 2.4, provided that the appliance is located no further than 30 km from Bargains premises. Should an appliance be located outside a 30km radius, the transport will rest on the customer to return the appliance to Bargains.
    3. Any item deemed a Small Appliance, including microwaves, mini-stoves, toasters, kettles, or other, have a carry-in warranty and need to be brought to Bargains premises for a warranty claim to be made.
    4. The following are specifically excluded from warranty:
      1. Any damage arising from:
        1. Misuse or abuse in using or transport of the appliance.
        2. Incorrect installation or connection.
        3. Liquid damage.
        4. Fire, flood, civil disturbance or any Act of God.
        5. PC board damage resulting from electrical surges.
        6. Normal wear and tear and rusting.
        7. Breakage such as glassware, dispensers, plastic components etc.
        8. Consumables and general maintenance such as fuses, light bulbs, filter cleaning etc.
        9. Cockroach infestations.
      2. Any cosmetic damages to the appliance such as scratches, dents, or misalignment.
    5. Where an appliance is used for commercial or industrial use, the warranty of such appliance will be void.
    6. Should an item under warranty be collected and after inspection the fault is found to arise from one of the causes listed in 2.4.1 or if no fault is found, all costs incurred will rest on the purchaser.
    7. It is an express condition that the purchaser take due care and attention in the use and maintenance of the appliance.
    8. Bargains will not be liable for any damage to or loss of property resulting directly or indirectly from any appliance’s operational failure.
    9. This warranty will immediately be void if the appliance is dismantled by, or any repairs to the appliance are affected by any persons not duly authorized by Bargains.
    10. Your invoice will serve as proof of purchase. For the purpose of this warranty it will be necessary to produce your invoice or customer card. Please note your customer card will only be useful for invoices bought using the card.

6.     Product Availability

  1. All items on offer are subject to stock availability.
  2. We will make all reasonable efforts to monitor stock availability and discontinue an offer if a given item is no longer available.
  3. We cannot, however, guarantee stock availability. When goods are no longer available after you have placed an order, we will notify you of this. We will refund the amount already paid by you.
  4. Bargains will only be liable for any amount paid directly to us.

7.     Conclusion of a Sale

  1. Bargains reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed by a user.
  2. An order will only be recognised after:
    1. A credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank; or
    2. An electronic transfer is reflected on Bargain’s bank statement; or
    3. A direct deposit is reflected on Bargain’s bank statement.
    4. Bargains will make all reasonable efforts to maintain correct prices. However, should such an error occur and an item is sold at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse such a sale and be liable only to refund the money paid by the user.
    5. A sale will be considered concluded after delivery of the relevant item(s) to you.

8.     Pricing

  1. All prices for products are displayed with the relevant products.
  2. Prices are quoted in ZAR (South African Rands).
  3. All prices are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 15%.
  4. Shipping costs are calculated on the shipping region and product class.
  5. Promotional prices are time and stock based and are subject to change should the time period be over or the stock be sold out.
  6. Bargains reserves the right to change the price of any item on offer without any prior notice.

9.     Deliveries

  1. We offer delivery service to all South African main centers and towns. If you would like to enquire about a regional/remote area, kindly contact us for assistance.

  3. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the item(s) you purchase to you as soon as possible, and not later than 30 days of receipt of payment. If we are unable to deliver to you within 30 days you may elect whether you would like to cancel or continue the order. Upon cancellation you will be refunded any money paid by you for the undelivered item.
  4. Our obligation for delivery ends when the item is received by you, and we cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to your product after it has been delivered.
  5. In the event that the deliver address you provided us is incorrect, the item will be returned to us. We will then contact you for the correct address. Please note that in such a case you will be charged for delivery again.

11.Special Offers

  1. Special offers may be subject to a time period and/or stock availability.
  2. Bargains will not be liable for a customer being unable to, for whatever reason, conclude a sale while prices were on the special offer.
