Welcome to www.bargainsonline.co.za (“the Website”). This Website is owned and operated by Alufusion (Pty) Ltd, trading as Bargains (“Bargains”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Website, purchases, sales transactions, deliveries, warranties, returns, and related communications.
By accessing or using this Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.
Bargains provides an online shopping platform where customers can browse, purchase, and arrange delivery of a wide range of appliances, furniture, and electronics.
Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions govern all sales made by Bargains, whether online via our website or in-store at any of our physical locations. Certain provisions (such as delivery and courier fees) may only apply to online or delivery purchases, while others (such as self-collection responsibilities) apply to in-store transactions.
2. Use of the Website- You may only use this Website for lawful purposes.
- You must be 18 years or older, or have legal capacity, to purchase from this Website.
- All Website content (including text, images, product descriptions, and pricing) is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws and remains the property of Alufusion (Pty) Ltd.
- You may view content for personal use only. No copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is permitted without our prior written consent.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Standard Returns
A product qualifies for return if all of the following conditions are met:
- The return request is made within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- The product is unused and has not been installed, assembled, or altered in any way.
- The product is in its original, unopened packaging (including manuals, accessories, and protective materials).
- Both the product and its packaging are undamaged and in a condition suitable for resale as new.
- The original proof of purchase (invoice) is provided.
If these conditions are not met, the return will be declined.
Custom Orders
Products ordered specifically on request (i.e., not part of our standard advertised listings) are not returnable.
Products Damaged on Delivery
- If a product is delivered damaged, it must be reported by close of business on the next working day after delivery.
- If a customer self-collects and later discovers damage at home, this must also be reported by close of business on the next working day after collection.
- Failure to report within this timeframe means liability has passed to the customer and the return will be declined.
Refund Method
- Refunds will be processed only after inspection and approval of the returned product.
- Approved refunds will normally be processed via EFT within 2 working days.
- For refund amounts of R1000 or less, customers may choose to receive a cash refund in-store instead of EFT. For security and fraud prevention reasons, in-store cash refunds are limited to R1000.
- Delivery and collection fees are non-refundable, unless Bargains is at fault.
- Where payment was made through PayJustNow, Float, or any other third-party payment provider, the refund will be processed via the same payment provider in accordance with their policies and timelines.
Unless otherwise specified, all products carry the manufacturer’s warranty only.
- Carry-In Warranty: Unless specified otherwise, items must be returned to Bargains’ premises or a supplier designated location for warranty claims.
- Manufacturer’s Warranty Terms Apply:
- All warranties are subject to the terms and conditions set by the respective manufacturer.
- The manufacturer will make the final decision on whether a product is repaired, replaced, or refunded under warranty.
- Customer Responsibility: Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
- All products are subject to stock availability.
- We make every effort to ensure accurate stock information, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
- If a product is no longer available after you place an order, we will notify you and refund the amount paid.
- Bargains will only be liable for amounts actually paid directly to us.
- Bargains reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order.
- A sale is valid only after:
- Credit card/EFT authorisation is received, and
- Payment is reflected in Bargains’ bank account.
- Payment through PayJustNow, Float, or ChipIn is successfully confirmed.
- If an incorrect price is displayed, Bargains may cancel the sale and refund you.
- Ownership of goods passes upon delivery.
- All prices are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include 15% VAT.
- Delivery charges depend on region and product type.
- Promotional prices are stock- and time-limited.
- Bargains may update prices at any time without prior notice.
- Delivery will be made within the advertised estimated delivery periods, subject to delays beyond Bargains’ control (e.g. strikes, load shedding, weather events).
- If you are unable to accept delivery, a re-delivery attempt will be made, and an additional delivery fee will be charged.
- If an incorrect delivery address is provided, re-delivery fees will also apply.
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.
Delivery Accessibility
Deliveries are subject to accessibility of the premises:
- Large or bulky items will only be delivered to ground floor locations unless the premises are designed to allow safe delivery above ground floor (e.g. wide stairways, service lifts).
- Delivery teams will not remove doors, windows, gates, or make structural adjustments to complete a delivery.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery path is clear. Bargains’ delivery teams will not move or reposition personal goods, furniture, or appliances belonging to the customer to make space for the delivery.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to accessibility limitations, a re-delivery fee will apply. Customers may alternatively arrange for self-collection.

- Special offers are subject to stock and/or time limits.
- Bargains is not responsible if a customer cannot complete a purchase during the promotional period.
- Bargains may request additional verification (ID, proof of payment, address confirmation) for certain orders.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order suspected of fraud or misuse.
- The Website and products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind except those provided by manufacturers.
- Bargains’ liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (including lost profits, data loss, or property damage).
- Information on the Website does not constitute professional advice. Customers should seek independent advice when required.
By purchasing from Bargains, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal, contact, and delivery information.
- Ensure someone is available to receive delivery.
- Use goods only for domestic purposes (warranties are void for commercial/industrial use).
Bargains will not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, load shedding, natural disasters, civil unrest, or pandemics.
16. Governing Law & DisputesThese Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of South Africa, within the jurisdiction where Bargains is registered.

21. General- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bargains.
- If any clause is invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
- Any special agreements must be in writing and signed by both parties.
