Return Policy
At Bargains, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. This Returns Policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and outlines when and how you can return products purchased from us.
30 Day Return Policy
A product may be returned if all of the following conditions are met:
- The return request is made within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- The product is unused and has not been installed, assembled, or altered.
- The product is in its original, unopened packaging, including manuals, accessories, and protective materials.
- Both the product and packaging are undamaged and in a condition suitable for resale as new.
- The original proof of purchase (invoice) is provided.
If these conditions are not fully met, the return will unfortunately be declined.
Custom Orders
Products that are specially sourced or ordered on request (not part of our advertised listings) are not returnable.
Products Damaged on Delivery/Collection
- Any damage must be reported by close of business on the next working day after delivery/collection.
- Failure to do so means that liability passes to you, and the product may no longer be returned for damages.
Refunds
- Refunds are only processed after inspection of the returned product.
- Delivery charges are non-refundable.
- If a collection is required, the cost of collection will be deducted from the refund, unless Bargains is at fault.
- Refund Methods:
- Refunds will be processed by EFT within 2 working days.
- For refund amounts of R1000 or less, customers may choose to receive a cash refund in-store instead of EFT. Cash refunds are limited to R1,000.
- Where payment was made through PayJustNow, Float, or any other third-party payment provider, the refund will be processed via the same provider in line with their policies and timelines.
Warranties
Unless otherwise specified:
- All advertised warranties are manufacturer’s warranties and subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
- Unless otherwise specified by the warranty’s terms and conditions, products carry a carry-in warranty and must be returned to Bargains for assessment.
- The manufacturer has the final say in determining the outcome of a warranty claim.

For refunds of R1000 or less, you may choose to receive a cash refund in-store or an EFT refund. Refunds above R1000 will only be processed via EFT.
